Providing Allied Health Services in the NSW Motor Accidents Scheme

The SIRA Allied Health Practitioner Introductory Training Program – Learning Only focuses on the role and expectations of allied health practitioners planning to work with people injured in motor vehicle accident or at work and claiming through the NSW motor accidents or workers compensation scheme.

The training program is for all allied health professionals who are new to or would like a refresher on working within the personal injury schemes.
This program does not have any assessments to complete. Completion of learning will provide you with a certificate of participation in the program. The cost of this training Program is $200.00.

After completing the SIRA Allied Health Practitioner Introductory Training Program

After completing the SIRA Allied Health Practitioner Introductory Training Program – Learning Only, if you would then like to deliver treatment services in the NSW workers compensation scheme, you will be required to purchase and successfully complete the Assessment Only course. The cost of the assessment is $135.00.

You are then required to apply for and receive confirmation of your approval as a SIRA workers compensation treating allied health practitioner.

Refund Policy

It is your responsibility to determine if you need to complete this training program. Refunds for the training program will not be offered if you discover you are not required to complete the training program. For example, no refunds will be granted for the following reasons:

There will be a $50 Non refundable fee if you are eligible for the refund, and it can take up to 2 weeks to process your request.
