How to help and support distressed clients with challenging or at-risk behaviours
This experiential, interactive, online program provides practical communication tools and person-centric strategies for personal injury case managers that deal with people who are stressed. This program focuses on what to do during a difficult client call or interaction, how to identify triggers, communicate effectively and mitigate problems. It explores how to manage people with challenging or at risk behaviours, when to escalate, and how to stay calm in the process. You will learn how strategies to manage people with mental health issues, or who may be at risk of self-harm. You will also learn to apply effective self-care strategies.

Managing Mental Injury - MMI
How to manage and support clients with mental injury and look after yourself.
This online training program is aimed at Case Managers and RTW Coordinators supporting personal injury clients. It focuses on identifying, mitigating and managing mental health concerns and conditions that clients may present with, in the context of return to work.
Participants will take part in highly engaging interactive workshops and facilitated discussions on the challenges they are currently experiencing addressing mental injury claims. They will learn more about mental health and psychological safety and be guided through effective, evidence-based, conversations to empower clients in their support and recovery.

Leading Psychologically Safe Teams
How to create psychologically safe teams and support your staff without burning out.
This training, based on a nationally recognised program, focuses on how leaders can set up and lead psychologically safe, healthy, and thriving teams. As a result of the successful Managing Mental Injury, PIEF and AP Psychology have co-designed a leadership capability program to create psychologically safe teams. This program looks at how to mitigate the risk factors for staff working in Personal Injury Management, including vicarious trauma, compassion fatigue and burnout. It teaches leaders ways they can identify and support their staff experiencing these challenges without burning out themselves. There will be a strong future focus on the role and responsibilities of leaders in creating a psychologically safe environment and supporting the mental health and wellbeing of their teams.
