About Us

The Personal Injury Education Foundation (PIEF) is committed to delivering leading education and training programs, events, and initiatives for people working in the personal injury and disability management industries in Australia.

PIEF was established in 2006 by a consortium of Australian accident compensation regulators, insurers and claims management organisations.

PIEF is owned by its members and is governed by a board of directors.

As a not-for-profit member-based organisation and registered training organisation, PIEF works towards improving the professionalism and capability of the personal injury and disability management industries.

Our Commitment to Diversity and Indigenous Communities

PIEF acknowledges the Traditional Owners & Custodians of lands throughout Australia. We pay our respects to Elders past, present, and emerging, and the continuation of cultural, spiritual and educational practices of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.

PIEF RTO Services

PIEF is a Registered Training Organisation (RTO) approved by the Australian Skills Quality Authority (ASQA) and is registered to deliver nationally recognised qualifications.

All students studying a vocational training program with PIEF will be awarded their qualification by PIEF RTO Services (RTO/TOID No. 40778). Previously students who have studied a vocational training program with PIEF have had their qualification issued by a third party.

Quality Indicator Report

The attached summary report represents a sample of PIEF's training delivery in 2020.

The learners and employers surveyed for these indicators were selected by PIEF in accordance with national guidelines.
