CPIP Affiliation

The Certified Personal Injury Professional (CPIP) Affiliation is the professional recommendation for the personal injury industry in Australia.

A CPIP affiliation offers a member experience where you can stay up to date with what’s happening in the industry and have access to a number of resources to assist you with your professional development all from one central point. 

Once you are registered, you maintain your accreditation through participating in ongoing professional development and registering your Continuing Professional Development points via the CPIP Portal.

Who can register?

CPIP Affiliation is recommended for anyone responsible for personal injury claims or involved in the claims process, such as:

CPIP affiliation is also highly relevant for those responsible for developing, implementing and/or evaluating claims management policies and procedures, either within their own organisation or across the broader industry.

CPIP affiliation is free to employees of our member organisations.

Non members are $100 every year.

CPIP Affiliation Types

There are four CPIP Affiliation types, split into PIEF Member (Corporate Member) staff or Non-member organisation staff, with different eligibility criteria and fees:

Student

Students of a vocational or postgraduate program with PIEF are eligible to become a Student CPIP for 12 months at no charge, after which they can apply for a desired category.

Practitioner

A CPIP (Practitioner) is a personal injury professional who has completed an approved vocational qualification in personal injury management.

Associate Fellow

A CPIP (Assoc. Fellow) is a personal injury professional who has completed an approved undergraduate qualification in an appropriate academic discipline.

A CPIP (Fellow) is a personal injury professional who has completed an approved post-graduate vocational qualification in personal injury management.
