Strategic Plan
Accident compensation schemes across Australia and New Zealand are multi-billion dollar businesses and employ thousands in government regulators, private insurers and claims management organisations (not including self-insurers). They are also a very critical element in our society as they are designed to help people whose lives have been negatively impacted by accident or illness, often through no fault of their own.
The Personal Injury Education Foundation was established to develop and implement a leading postgraduate qualifications program in personal injury. Although the development of the postgraduate program will remain the core activity of the Foundation over the next five years, the Foundation will aim to develop associated programs to improve the capability of accident compensation schemes across Australia and New Zealand.
Over the next 5 years, the Foundation will aim to:
- develop a leading and internationally recognised postgraduate program
- improve the capability of the personal injury industry
- increase the attractiveness of working in the personal injury industry
- expand membership of the Foundation.
