Membership Levels
There are four different levels of membership of PIEF and organisations are allocated to different levels of membership as follows:
Executive
- Australian and New Zealand accident compensation regulators with population >1 million
- Two or more government entities who operate in the same Australian workers' compensation or motor accident jurisdiction with a population >1 million and who wish to be admitted to membership jointly
- Accident compensation insurers, claims management organisations or other government organisations.
Note: Executive members are entitled to a position on the board of directors.
Non-executive, Group A
- Australian accident compensation regulators with population <1million
- Two or more government entities who operate in the same Australian workers' compensation and/or motor accident jurisdiction with population <1 million and who wish to be admitted to membership jointly
- Specialised insurers.
Non-executive, Group B
- Large industry associations
- Self-insurers
- Private organisations
- International organisations.
Non-executive, Group C
- Small, not for profit industry associations.
