If PIEF determines that the applicant is ineligible to undertake the exam a refund of $440 (PIEF member) or $550 (non-member) will be refunded for the cost of the exam. Please note that application fees are non-refundable.
Applicants must meet all of the educational and work experience criteria as set out in order to be eligible to sit the certification examinations.
The certification examination fee covers the cost of undertaking the certification examination, awarding of the certificate, use of credentials for one year from date of notification of successful completion of certification examination, and publication and inclusion in a registry of professionals.
The current cost of maintaining certification is $302 per year (including GST.) This amount is subject to slight change.
