It is important to note that the postgraduate programs have been developed with full-time employment in mind. It is assumed that most students will be employed full-time as well as studying, and as such the delivery caters to this.
Many units are delivered online, using Deakin's online learning environment DSO. Those units that do require face-to-face components are delivered via residential, in an intensive study program run at the Deakin Management Centre. This delivery method allows students to consolidate much of their study into a single week.
Although it is important to note that each unit is different, on average you should allow for between 6 - 10 hours per week, per unit in study time.
